Certification

The Scuba Diver course is typically completed within 2 days.
The Open Water Diver course is best completed over 3-4 days, as it involves 5 confined water lessons and 4 open water dives.
The Advanced Open Water Diver course can be completed in 2 days, as it involves 5 dives.
The Rescue Diver course can be completed in 2 days, as it involves 2 open water sessions and scenarios.
The Divemaster course—the entry-level professional PADI rating—can be completed at your pacing. While this course can be completed in as little as two weeks, we believe Divemaster candidates benefit more from the course when they join as many classes as possible under instructor supervision and take the time to learn from our staff of diving professionals through workshops, lectures, and hands-on practical training over a number of months.

We request payment at the time of booking to ensure availability and secure your timeslot. You may pay through bank transfer.

You can complete the eLearning at your own pace. eLearning typically requires a time commitment of 8-10 hours for the Open Water Diver course.

Your course must be completed within one year after purchase.

 – Yes, you must be able to swim prior to beginning any diving course for your safety. For the Open Water course, you will be required to complete a 10-minute tread/float and a 200-meter swim without mask and fins or a 300-meter swim with mask and fins. This will not be timed and can be completed at your own pace.
– For the Discover Scuba Diving experience, we ask that all participants be comfortable in and around the water.

– You will be required to complete a medical form prior to in-water activities to verify you do not have any conditions that will require a full medical form with clearance to be acquired from a doctor. Please check the medical form sent to you by email upon your enrollment in any course.
– If you have one of the conditions listed in the form, kindly inform us prior to booking so that we may provide you with the appropriate form to take to a doctor to receive medical clearance.

Concerning flying after diving, current recommendations advise that you should leave at least 12 hours after one recreational dive and at least 18 hours after two or more recreational dives (or multiple days of diving) before flying.

We request that divers enroll in a ReActivate experience after 6 months of not diving.

-All divers joining boat trips must bring their original, valid Emirates ID (if a resident) or original passport (if not a resident). Copies will not be accepted by the Coast Guard, and you will not be permitted to dive from the boat that day if you are not carrying your Emirates ID or passport with you.
– We suggest you bring a towel, reusable water bottle, and change of clothing. If you are diving from the boat, snacks and drinks will be provided.

Once all requirements are complete, your paperwork will be submitted to PADI for processing. Please allow up to one week for verification and issuance of certification

If you are not a certified diver, you may scuba dive with a PADI Instructor through a Discover Scuba Diving experience, wherein you will learn the basics about diving equipment, safety information, and key skills needed to be comfortable and safe underwater. After a training session in the pool, you will go on one open water dive from the boat or shore with your instructor. A second open water dive from the boat may be booked for an additional cost. Please visit our page on Discover Scuba Diving to learn more.

Yes, your PADI certification is valid everywhere and is accepted and recognized in all countries.

PADI certification does not expire, as it is a lifelong certification. However, it is important to keep your skills and knowledge fresh. For divers who have been out of the water for 6 months or more, we request that a ReActivate experience be completed before joining our fun dives.
